is it because it is used in kernel/profile.c only? thing is, what
user_mode_vm does on i386 is what user_mode does elsewhere, so it's
kinda backwards and i forgot that profile.c is not i386 only. the
right fix would be to swap the role of user_mode_vm and user_mode
on i386, it's just more work than the problem i originally wanted
to fix ;-).
