[grsec] Problem with gradm

I am a new user of the Grsec, I am having problems with the
compilation of gradm, follows the error:

root at internetserver:~/gradm2# make install
Installing gradm...
Installing grlearn...
Installing gradm manpage...
Could not open /dev/grsec.
open: No such device or address

make: *** [install] Error 1
root at internetserver:~/gradm2# ls -l /dev/grsec
crw--w--w-  1 root root 1, 12 2005-08-11 10:55 /dev/grsec
root at internetserver:~/gradm2#


what it can be happening a time that /dev/grsec exists in the machine?
He would be grateful for such aid.  Since already thanks.
