what PaX flags are enabled on your X server? also, what's towards the
end of the X logs (like was X loading some module around the time the
problem occured, etc)? also, could you run X under strace and send me
the log (if possible, both a working and non-working boot so that i
can compare)? also try to turn off randomization for the tests, it
makes it easier to interpret the numbers.
