[grsec] hotplug cannot upload firmware

Hello, 

I have a network card that needs a firmware uploaded
duing ifconfig eth0 up. But with kenel 2.6.7 and grsec
2.0.1 I could not get this to work. I always get the
following error: 

grsec: (:::kernel::::S:/) denied open of /sys/class/firmware/0000:02:00.0 
/loading for writing by /etc/hotplug/firmware.agent[firmware.agent:1856] 
uid/euid:0/0 gid/egid:0/0, parent /sbin/hotplug[hotplug:4505] uid/euid:0/0 
gid/egid:0/0 

How can I get around this?
